Embroidery, and Alterations.

Deedra and Adam George opened Alterations by George in 2002 and
offered Embroidery
service on day one. We started Screen Printing in early 2003 due to customer demand.
Deedra
grew up in a family of seamstresses and identified an unfulfilled need for an Alterations shop in Helena, AL. Deedra
operated the business while raising 2 wonderful children.
Deedra is a University of Montevallo graduate and brings a
lifetime of sewing experience.
In 2008, Adam joined Deedra in the "by George" businesses full time.
Adam's previously worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. He started working in his
parents restaurant at age 11. He later invested over 26 years with Arby's Roast Beef Restaurants, holding all
positions from team member to franchisee Vice President-Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.
